A driver who killed a Tibetan leader gets four years in prison.
Fernando Perez pleaded guilty to reckless homicide and failure to report the deadly crash in West Rogers Park last November.
He has already spent nine months in jail, and could be released from prison after serving about two years.
Friends of the victim, Tsering Dorjee, say the sentence is not enough.
Dorjee is survived by three young sons.
His brother-in-law was also was struck, but survived.
