When Chicagoans think of Italian food, they think of Taylor Street’s Little Italy neighborhood.
But Chicago has a second Italian neighborhood that desperately needs visitors.
The businesses and restaurants of the Heart of Italy, have been hit hard as businesses moved to the suburbs.
WGN’s Randi Belisomo talks with restaurant owners and workers in the area of the lower west side to hear how traditions and business are wilting on the vine.
