Deerfield boil order lifted

A boil water order that was issued in north suburban Deerfield after fecal coliform bacteria was discovered in the water has now been lifted.

Deerfield officials say the village conducted a series of water tests after the bacteria was discovered Monday afternoon and all samples have come back clear of any fecal coliform.

Residents and businesses in Deerfield are now being told that water can be used in a regular manner.
