duneThe National Park Service plans to bring special ground-sensing equipment to the Indiana Dunes today.

Officials will try to determine what caused part of a dune to collapse on a 6-year-old boy last month, leaving him trapped for more than three hours.

At the time, park rangers said they had never seen anything like it.

Nathan Woessner has since recovered.

The dune has been closed since the incident on July 12.
