A quiet block in Lincoln Park got noisy Friday morning, when a truck scraped a large tree branch along a row of parked vehicles.

Police say 15 to 20 cars, pickups and cycles were damaged by the branch, sticking out from behind the cab of the truck, described as a white delivery van.

Mirrors, taillights and fenders were smashed and dented as the truck plowed down the 22 hundred block of North Burling at about 5:00 am.

Several witnesses saw the destruction, but investigators haven’t indicated whether they were able to provide a more detailed description of the truck or its license number.

Jason Wiegal told our Julian Crews both his pickup and his fiancee’s car were damaged.
