How to Hang a Chandelier

A chandelier can transform a room and with the help of our expert Michael Goldstein, you’ll be able to complete this DIY project within an hour:


  • Phillips and Flathead screwdrivers
  • Pliers
  • Wire stripper
  • Wire tester
  • Electrical tape
  • Light fixture


  1. Assemble light fixture
  2. Remove plate
  3. Turn off power and test
  4. Attach bracket to ceiling
  5. Make wire connections
  6. Tighten aesthetic pieces
  7. Screw in bulbs and turn on power

This project is moderate in difficulty level and will take around 60 minutes. The total cost is just $46!
