Carl’s Tips:

Make it Comfortable:
The cheesy days of saying cheese are so yesterday.  Photograph the people you love doing what they love without posing, posturing or pretentiousness.

Make it Count:
Look for those moments when your subjects are interacting with each other, with nature or otherwise not focused on the camera. Shoot many photos so you can choose the moments that capture the essence you are looking for.

Tap into Wonder:
To take pictures through a natural, intuitive process, start by thinking of a favorite photo from your life. Where are you? What are you doing? How are you feeling?  Describe the moment as vividly as possible and name all of the qualities that you’re embodying and expressing. This image, whether in photographic or written form, will serve as a reminder of who you really are at the core of your true nature.
