Affordable Care Act draws near, group fights for funding they say was denied

The Affordable Care Act will kick in on October 1st and already 42 health agencies statewide are getting ready to go out and teach people how this will work.

Access Community Health is at the top of the list or organizations getting funding to do the outreach.  They received a little over a half million dollars.

But today, one of the local NAACP chapters voices its anger over the fact that they were denied dollars to reach out to the African American community.
