Woman sentenced to 45 years for setting boyfriend on fire

A woman in Chicago was sentenced to 45-years in prison for pouring gasoline on her boyfriend and setting him on fire.

Sherry Hartison was convicted of first degree murder in the death of 61-year-old Allan Penny.

Prosecutors said she was angry because Penny would not give her money from his disability check

She poured gas on him, set him on fire and then locked his apartment door when he tried to escape.

Penny was able to identify Hartison as his attacker before he died.
