    spam…delete these idiots….I mean yo Yad7.com

anyway, I do hope this couple is found, safe and sound. I would be at my wits end , if these were my parents. I will keep positive thoughts, for Mr & Mrs Schweisthal and the entire family. My prayers are with you all.

i am a resident of chicago near the pilsen neighborhood… my family and I were staying at woodhaven lakes driving to walmar (peru,il) when we noticed Elena waving a napkin at cars to help her from a 1/2 mile away, there were at least 10 cars ahead that didn’t stop to help Elena and her husband . My father pulled over reversed and we asked elena if she was o.k she stated she was out of gas.. her and her husband slept there over night, and the husband thought it was a home (which was an abondones barn) we gave them water and dialed 911 ( i had to walk around and search for signal ) meanwhile a resident of lamoine, il stopped and said she noticed the couple but didn’t help them at 9 am because she was headed to church and thought they were only looking at the farm.. The sheriff stated this couple had been reported missing. I didn’t think much of the incident was just happy an ambulance came , when I talked to my neighbor from Chicago and told her what happened, she told me it was all over Facebook and the news…

If you could remind people to be Good Samaritan and be alert and help each others in need (it was not social media that made us want to help the family)

If you can relay the message to the family that we felt that Elena and Vernon had a guardian angel as well.. Because we never have cell phone reception in that area and for less than minutes we were able to get satellite signal and locate us for ambulance to come and help the couple.
