Tree down – storm damage

Residents in Waukegan are facing major cleanup after several trees went down. One split off at the trunk right by a house, just barely missing the structure.

Another large tree was snapped right in half.

Other large branches came down throughout the town, some hitting power lines.

At the height of the storm, ComEd reports 19,000 customers lost power.
