Today marks the one year anniversary of the Aurora, Colorado movie theater massacre.
Survivors held a moment of silence at 12:38 a.m. Saturday, the time suspected gunman James Holmes entered the theater and began shooting.
They paused for 82 seconds, for the 12 people killed and 70 others who were injured.
Today is a “day of remembrance” in Colorado.
Residents are honoring victims by doing good deeds in their communities.
Holmes has plead insanity to charges of murder, attempted murder and possession of explosives.
He’ll undergo a mental evaluation. His trial is scheduled to begin next February.
