Storms prompt Pearl Jam fans to clear Wrigley Field

SAMSUNGPearl Jam fans cleared out Wrigley Field Friday night when a brief storm hit.

The fans were asked to clear the field and congregate in the concourses until further notice, according to attendees of the concert.

Fans say the band played five or six songs when Eddie came out and said there would be a “Delay of 30 minutes.”

The concert was delayed for over an hour just after 10:00 p.m. but people continued to wait patiently for the concert to resume, some spilling into nearby bars.

The Phish concert at Northerly Island was also cut short Friday night due to the weather.

The bands took to twitter to keep fans informed.
