Chicago’s beaches have fun, sun and now free Wi-Fi.

Starting Friday, the Chicago Park District is offering the free Wi-Fi services at five of the city’s beaches including North Avenue, Osterman/Hollywood, Montrose, Foster and Rainbow beaches.

The city says free wireless will also be made available at other outdoor locations, like parks and public plazas, soon.

The city has already added Wi-Fi to downtown’s Millennium Park.
