Blackhawks goalie Ray Emery will play for the Philadelphia Flyers next season.

Emery, who was a free agent, reportedly signed a one-year deal worth $1.65 million.

Emery set an NHL record last season by being the first goalie in history to win his first 12 decisions.

Emery’s agent, J.P. Barry, said earlier in the week he was meeting with Hawks general manager Stan Bowman but the sides could not come to an agreement.

The Chicago Tribune contributed to this report.
