Trust your gut. If your car sounds “funny,” take it in — it’s better to be safe than sorry.

Maintain regular transmission checkups to maximize the life of a vehicle.

Oil, oil, oil. Pistons need lubrication to function – do not skip regular oil changes.

Budget for auto care and try to set aside a portion of monthly savings for this. It shouldn’t be viewed as a “necessary evil,” but as a good way to take care of one’s property.

Invest in good tires. They are the only point of contact with the road so quality tread really helps maintain a good ride.
