Goose Island Brewpub says it is working diligently with its landlord to keep the brewpub open on North Clybourn Ave.
There have been reports the brewpub is in danger of closing next year over a dispute with its landlord, CRM Properties Group.
However, the founder of Goose Island Brewpub, John Hall, reportedly said it’s in the best interest of everyone for the brewpub to stay put.
Goose Island brewpub started in 1988 and became a major craft beer brand over the years.
Reports say despite whatever happens to the Clybourn location in Lincoln Park, it will not effect Goose Island Brewery’s two other locations, one on Fulton St and the other in Wrigleyville.
