USPS, U of C investigating racist, homophobic prank

The U.S. Postal Service and the University of Chicago are investigating a racist and homophobic prank involving a fraternity. USPS

The Sun-Times reports someone sent dozens of empty boxes to the Phi Delta Theta fraternity house last month.

The names on all of the packages turned out to be racist and anti-gay slurs, spelled backwards.

The frat says it destroyed the packages and alerted the postal service.

Representatives said they have no idea who sent the boxes or why.
