Motorcyclist killed after crashing into Oak Lawn home

A man is dead after crashing his motorcycle in front of a house in the southwest suburbs.

The crash happened around 3:20 a.m. Tuesday near 105th and Lavergne in Oak Lawn.

Police say a man, in his 20s, lost control of the motorcycle, hit a curb and was thrown off at 105th and Lavergne.

The motorcyclist died at the scene, but no one in the home was injured.

There’s no word yet on the cause of the crash.
