The first mosquitoes of the year that are carrying the West Nile virus have been found in Cook County.
So far, no human cases have been reported this year.
Officials say the rainy, cold weather is actually a poor environment for mosquitoes to breed.
But when it gets warmer we can expect a lot of mosquitoes fairly quickly.
Last year there were 290-cases of West Nile virus reported and 12-deaths.
