* The White Sox had not been shut out at home in 66 straight games prior to yesterday’s contest. It was the longest running streak of any AL club.

* Chris Sale has been outstanding since the middle of last month, going at least seven innings and allowing fewer than three earned runs in each of his last six outings.

* After totaling just two RBI in the opening month of the season, Alfonso Soriano drove in his 17th and 18th runs since the beginning of May in Monday’s ballgame.

* Nearly half of Adam Dunn’s 26 hits this season have been home runs  (12).

* The White Sox have won more games when scoring fewer than five runs than any other club this season (14) .
