The Cook County Sheriff’s office has issued a bulletin alerting local and federal law enforcement of “unspecified threats.”

Law enforcement sources tell WGN news that information came from multiple sources inside and outside the county jail, but would not say what the warning says or how specific the threat may be.

It`s believed to have originated with a Chicago street gang and target tactical team members as well as uniformed police.

Superintendent Garry McCarthy stressed that his officers face this kind of danger all the time- that they`re always at risk- we just don`t always hear about it.

The difference this time is that word has gotten out and the threat sounds extremely specific.

WGN News will follow this story and update with the latest.

SERIOUSLY, this whole thing with the gangs and police sounds like the movie "MEN OF WATCH" same
episode. Gangmembers want to live in our society then they should grow up and stop threatening the whole entire universe. Its time to stop feeling sorry for these idiots and execute them!!!!!!
