2 in custody in fatal shooting of Chicago man in Bahamas

Chicago man killed after attempting to stop mugging in BahamasTwo people are in custody in the death of a man from Chicago who was killed in the Bahamas.

Police in the Bahamas are now looking for a third man involved in Kyle Bruner’s death.

Bruner was a private sailor working on a tall ship in the Bahamas.

His family says he was in Nassau when he saw a woman being mugged.

When he tried to intervene, he was shot in the neck and died.

Bruner served in the Indiana National Guard.

He was set to leave the Bahamas in a few days and return to Chicago this summer.
