Cops: Father beat girl with extension cord for eating his ice cream

A father and his girlfriend are accused of beating an 11-year-old girl because she ate his ice cream.

Pierre Scarbrough, and his girlfriend, Faith Alston, face battery charges.

Scarbrough reportedly became upset when he learned the girl ate all the ice cream at home on Thursday.

Police say, when the girl came home from school, Alston held her down while Scarbrough hit her a dozen times with an extension cord.

The girl suffered deep cuts and welts on her body.

The couple is being held on $200,000 bail.
