Harvey man charged with animal cruelty after dogs found abused

robersonA man charged with multiple felony and misdemeanor counts of animal cruelty is scheduled to appear in bond court Friday morning.

Authorities found several emaciated dogs when they evicted William Roberson from his home in Harvey Thursday.

Sheriff’s police also found a dead dog in the basement.

There were seven pit bull-type dogs and a Chihuahua.

Officials say the home didn’t appear to be used for dog fighting.

The dogs are now in the care of the South Suburban Humane Society.

    you can kill all the people you want.with out getting caught.but do something cruel to a animal.you will b jail the next day…dam shame…..my city has gone to ruins

    I really hope that when this guy dies that he come back as a dog and gets the same ugly treatment, this guy is heartless.

    In AZ there is zero tolerance to animal abuse and cruelty! This man should be caged in a dog cage and suffer the way he treated those poor dogs. Rot in hell!
