Chicago police are warning about a sex assault on the city’s far north side.

Police say a man approached a 22-year-old woman at a bus stop in the 6300 hundred block of North Clark Thursday afternoon in the Edgewater neighborhood.

Investigators say the man took the woman to a more secluded location nearby where he sexually assaulted her and took a credit card from her.

The suspect is described as a black male,  5’8, 300 lbs and was wearing a white striped polo and jeans.

The woman went to a nearby hospital on her own for treatment.

So far, no one is in custody.
