Stroger Hospital doctor charged with assaulting patients

A doctor at Stroger Hospital has been accused of sexually assaulting two patients. Capture

An arrest warrant was issued for Luygy Zavaleta Jara, 28, last week.

He’s accused of assaulting two women while giving them exams in March.

Jara was suspended that same month, and is no longer working at Stroger Hospital.

A Cook County Circuit Judge set bail for Jara at $3 million.

He is a native of a Peru.

Police think he may have fled the United States.
