Chicago police search for hit and run driver

Chicago police are looking for the driver of a gold or orange 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix that plowed into a Northwest side man in the Lawndale neighborhood Sunday morning.

It happened about 11 a.m. when the victim was crossing Ogden Avenue at Pulaski Boulevard.

The car was speeding southwest on Ogden when it struck the man who is reported to be in very critical condition.

The unidentified victim is being treated at Mount Sinai Hospital.

He will be 51-years old Monday.
