4 U.S. soldiers killed in Afghanistan plane crash

Four NATO service members were killed in a plane crash in Afghanistan.

All of them were American.

An MC-12 reconnaissance aircraft went down in southern Afghanistan on Saturday.

Officials say there were no enemies in the area.

Captain Brandon Cyr, 28, was among those killed.

He was assigned to the 906th air-refueling squadron, at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois.

The other Airmen killed were all from Beale AFB, Calif., and are Capt. Reid Nishizuka, and Staff Sgts. Richard Dickson and Daniel Fannin.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
