Gov. Pat Quinn released his tax returns for 2012.

Documents show he made about $160,000 last year.

The governor’s income was about $5,000 higher than the previous year, because Quinn, along with other state employees took unpaid furlough days in 2011.

Even though the state budget is still in trouble, there were no mandatory furlough required of state employees in 2012.

The governor’s return also shows he gave $7,500 to charity last year, about $4,000 less than the year before.

So he gives the exact amount to charity that his accountant tells him to give to maximize his own personal wealth. It has nothing to do with charity. What a useless politician. Oh wait those two words mean the same things.

All politicians, judges and lawyers, and others I'm sure I missed should hang their heads in shame at getting us closer to financially destroying a country.
