The Bears’ first round pick, Kyle Long will be formally introduced to Chicago in a press
conference Friday afternoon at Halas Hall in Lake Forest.
Long started four games at guard for Oregon last season.
He is expected to compete for the starting left guard job, but General Manager Phil Emery
said he is a versatile player and could make the transition tackle.
Long said his off the field issues, which include a DUI in 2009 as well as brief time spent
in rehabilitation are in the past and he is looking forward to being part of the organization.
