Bail was denied Tuesday for one of the two men accused of plotting an Al Qaeda supported attack in Canada.

On Monday police arrested Chiheb Esseghaier, 30, of Montreal and Raed Jaser, 35, of Toronto.
Neither are Canadian citizens but had been in the country for several years.
The plot reportedly involved Canada’s popular Via Rail passenger train traveling from Canada to New York’s Penn Station.
The suspects are reportedly linked to an Al Qaeda group in Iran.  However, Iranian officials say that group does not operate in their country.
Another hearing was held for the second suspect.
