New outdoor concert venue coming to Aurora

The west suburbs are about to get a brand new outdoor entertainment venue.

Just announced Monday morning is the new “River Edge Park” in downtown Aurora that’ll be opening on June 14 with the annual Blues on the Fox Music Festival.

The venue will have a total capacity of 10,500.

They’ve already lined up some pretty big names for their inaugural season.

Highlights include country superstars, Trace Adkins, Loretta Lynn and Randy Travis.  There’s Dr. John,  BB king,  Peter Frampton and a special 70’s night with Christopher Cross, Orleans, Gary Wright, Firefall, John Ford Coley, Robbie Dupree and Player.
