The Chicago man accused of plotting to build a pipe bomb during last year’s NATO Summit has been sentenced to three years in prison.

28-year-old Mark Neiweem of Chicago pleaded guilty to one count of attempted possession of an incendiary device.

Neiweem was arrested last May, after undercover officers infiltrated a group of “alleged” anarchists who had plans to disrupt the Summit.
