Police in Western Springs are warning parents that two child predators may be on the loose.

A man and woman in a late-model white Chevy Suburban targeted groups of children between the ages of 9 and 14-years-old.

It happened in the 4800 and 4900 blocks of Lawn Ave at around 6:15 p.m Saturday.

The man appeared to film the boys with a handheld device while the woman offered them candy.

In one of the incidents’, the woman asked if the kids wanted to film a video.

The woman is described as white, in her 20s, has dark hair and a raspy voice.

The man is also described as white, in his 20s, wore a black baseball hat and a white shirt.

The boys refused, and the man and woman drove away without making any physical contact with the kids.

The kids say the woman had a raspy voice; beyond that, there’s very little information that would make the couple easily identifiable.
