Beyonce and Rapper Jay Z may not face a government fine for their Cuban vacation.
The couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary last week with a four-day trip to Cuba.
But not everyone is happy for the celebrity couple.
Two lawmakers in Florida questioned if the two violated U.S travel restrictions to jet set to the Communist island nation.
U.S. Reps. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen and Mario Diaz-Balart of Florida have sent requests asking the U.S Treasury Department to investigate the couple’s vacation there.
They claim the visit has also upset Cuban-Americans in their districts.
But there are new reports that the vacation was fully licensed and the couple will not face any fines.
Florida Governor Marco Rubio said in a public statement on Monday, “According to recent news reports, Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s Cuba trip, which the regime seized on for propaganda purposes, was fully licensed by the Treasury Department.”
