Opening Day at Wrigley Field brought a few disappointments.

First, the Chicago Cubs couldn’t recover from a 4-0 first-inning deficit and lost to the Brewers, in a 7-4.

Also a deal to renovate Wrigley Field is close but well past the April 1st self-imposed deadline. A week later the parties have agreed on a hotel, office park and plaza near the ball park.  But particulars on the Jumbotron and other signage are still in the works.

Still, fans remained hopeful Monday and said the organization should do whatever it takes for the team to win a World Series.
