Cubs Game Notes For Opening Day vs. Brewers

* David DeJesus led the majors with 17 runs scored against the Brewers in 2012. His career average of 0.91 runs per game versus Milwaukee is the highest ever.

* Ryan Braun has missed the Brewers’ last three games due to a neck injury. The Brewers would love to have him back for this series, as Braun has been the Cubs’ leading tormenter from the moment he entered the majors in 2007.In that time he has 119 hits, 66 runs, 72 singles, 31 doubles, and 68 RBIs – tops against the Cubs in that time span.

*Edwin Jackson was 2-0 with a 0.82 ERA in his last three starts against Milwaukee last year.

*The Cubs are 7-15 in their last 22 home openers, 2nd worst in baseball over that span – only Pittsburgh is worse.
