A man was killed, and another injured, after a shooting on Chicago’s South Side.
It happened on the 8000 block of South Manistee Avenue about 6 p.m., police said.
Two men were shot, and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
D’Angelo Simmons, 22, was pronounced dead at 7:04 p.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office, which listed Simmons’ home address as the 8000 block of South Manistee.
The other man, 18, is in good condition after being shot in the ankle.
No arrests have been made.
