The Blackhawks scored early and often in Detroit this afternoon, beating the Red Wings 7-1.  Brandon Saad and Dave Bolland each were credited with two goals, though one of Bolland’s goals was a misplay by Detroit defender Jakub Lindl, who scored on his own net while trying to clear a puck.

The Hawks won despite the absence of Marian Hossa and Patrick Sharp, the Hawks will be back in action tomorrow night when they host Nashville.
