Cook County’s Medical Examinar says it doesn’t appear a man found dead following a house fire was the victim of foul play.

The fire broke out in the 9300 block of South Union Avenue Saturday afternoon.

When firefighters arrived, heavy smoke was coming from the basement of the 1½-story brick bungalow.

They found 58-year-old Leonard Bloomfield after putting out the fire.

The Medical Examiner says there are no signs of trauma to his body.
