Driver arrested in fatal hit-and-run in Brighton Park

Police arrested the driver suspected in a deadly hit-and-run in the Brighton Park neighborhood.

It happened in the 4500 block of south Archer Avenue Thursday night.

Police say Ida Quintanilla, 58, woman was hit by a dark colored SUV, which fled the scene.

The woman was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police used a license plate number given by a witness to track down the suspected driver.

So far no charges have been filed.
