CPD goes bald for ‘St. Baldrick’s’

Chicago police officers are teaming up today and going bald to help children with cancer.

They are holding their annual ‘St. Baldrick’s’ event at three locations in the city from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m..

You can stop by and watch as the officers shave their heads and raise money for cancer research.

This is the 6th year that members of the Chicago Police Department have participated in this event, in that time raising over $500,000 to help fund research.

The 3 locations are:

Timothy J. O’Connor Training Academy

1300 W. Jackson

25th District

5555 W. Grand Ave. (Auditorium)

22nd District

1900 W. Monterey
