A Chicago bears player has been arrested in Florida.
The Chicago Tribune is reporting Evan Rodriguez was arrested around 5:30 a.m. Thursday in Miami Beach.
He was charged with resisting an officer and disorderly intoxication. No further details were released.
Evans is a second year tight end with the Bears. The Tribune said that Rodriguez had traveled to Miami to train during the off-season.
The Bears recently released a statement saying: “We are aware of the reports regarding Evan Rodriguez. We are currently gathering information to learn more about the circumstances surrounding the situation.”
