Abundant sunshine and slightly warmer temperatures still won’t have it feeling much like the first full day of spring.

After a clear and cold morning Chicagoland temperatures will struggle to reach the lower 30s Thursday afternoon.

Mainly clear skies will once again allow temperatures to drop into the teens overnight.

Friday will start mostly sunny, but probably end under partly cloudy skies.  Temperatures will remain around 13 degrees cooler than average with highs in the mid-30s.

The weekend will start with a fair amount of sunshine with highs near 40 degrees Saturday, but more clouds, colder temperatures and the chance for some snow showers is in the forecast for Sunday.

Our unseasonably chilly conditions are likely to continue into next week and we’ll hang onto a chance for a little more snowfall.
