A Cairo appeals court has granted former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak a retrial on April 13, Egypt’s state-run news agency Mena said Sunday.

Mubarak, who ruled Egypt for 30 years,  is currently serving a life sentence for the killing of protesters during Egypt’s revolt in 2011. He appealed that sentence in January.

The 84-year-old has suffered a range of physical problems, and is being treated in a military hospital.

Mubarak’s sons and former Interior Minister will also be retried on corruption charges.
