Pope Benedict XVI shared his moments of joys and struggles today during his final public address as the leader of the Catholic Church.

The Pope spoke to tens of thousands of followers packed in St Peter’s Square.

The 85-year-old will officially resign Thursday morning. He says he just doesn’t have the strength to do the job anymore.

He will be the first pope to resign in nearly 600 years.

He discussed how he prayed to god for guidance when he was asked to become the pope eight years ago.

He also said the job doesn’t have any privacy.
