New delivery cuts are being announced Wednesday by the U.S. Postal Service.

Mail carriers will stop delivering mail on Saturdays, but will continue to deliver packages six days a week.

The plan is expected to save about $2-billion a year for the financially struggling agency.

It’s not clear whether congress will have to approve the changes.

They’re expected to begin in August.
