At least 6 displaced after South Side fire; 2 firefighters injured

At least six people are left homeless after a fire on the South Side.

It started at about 2 a.m. Tuesday, in a building in the 7300 block of South Rhodes Avenue.

Nobody who lived in the building was injured.

One firefighter was taken to the hospital suffering from shortness of breath and a second firefighter is being treated for an ankle injury.

Investigators have not determined how the fire started.
