Sketch of South Loop sexual assault suspect released

Police have released a sketch of a man believed to have sexually assaulted a woman at gunpoint on the 1400 block of South Clark St.

According to police, the man gained access to the woman’s home after the assault where her attacker then robbed her husband.

The suspect is between 30 and 33-years-old, 5′ 6“and 5′ 8”.

He has black hair and brown eyes and weighs between 165 and 185 lbs.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call Area Central detectives at: 312-747-8380.

    Why does WGN not state if the offender is white, black, hispanic, etc. etc. Are you afraid you may offend a certain community. That is kind of an important thing to state when providing information. Unbelievable.
